Jan is the owner of Park Orchards Garden and Building Supplies (view here). With almost 40 years experience in the Gardening and Landscaping Industry, previously owning 7 Garden and Building Supplies, Plant Nurseries and Florist shops, Jan is only too happy to help with your gardening queries and landscape design enquires. Jan was the First Lady Gardener in Australia to present a TV Gardening show. She presented 2 gardening programs a week on "Good Morning Melbourne" which included International gardening guests, plus 2 children's gardening segments on the "Early Bird Show" with Marty Monster as the character "Mrs. Worm" on Channel 0 (then Channel 10). She was also a Guest speaker on a number of Melbourne and Country Radio Stations. Jan wrote for "Your Garden" magazine each month plus gardening columns in a number of newspapers, She also lectured at a number of Universities for the Royal Horticultural Society's Summer, Autumn, Winter and Spring Schools of Gardening along side Kevin Heinz, Alan Seal and many others - plus ran her own School of Gardening.
Charity Involvements: Jan is Patron for Convoy For Kids Inc children's charity, Life Governor for "Able Australia" and has also been invovled with various other children's charities for many, many years and has been presented with numerous awards for her charity work..All Jan's charity involvements have and still are Totally Voluntary.
Jan was also Inducted into the National Road Transport Hall of Fame in 2006.
Jan also supports local schools and clubs.
